In today´s training i had 3 shooters. All shooting 50m and all wanted to shoot kneeling. The little competition periode is over for 2 of them and one is having a competition this weekend (last for the season). As in all over the world the season has been different this year because of the covid-19. Luckely here in Sweden we have had a chance to practice more or less all the time so far during the pandemendic. So we started the next season with trying to work on the stability. Make sure that we have the 3 stabilityplaces solid on the ground. So we worked on getting the stabilityfoot under the rifle. We worked on sitting good with the heal under the spine so there is better stability upwards the back and the hip. And at the end placement with the knee on the ground. In a natural distance from the left foot so we dont notice some pressure either from left or right foot dragging towards eachother. So we shot about 15 shots and then up and start over again (i think it is important that young people can shoot a bit too. Sometimes i make them dryfire instead working like this) The shooter who is left did work on the smooth triggering as past sessions. But we did a little change at the end after looking at the grouping. So the new task was to shoot with good timing too (going for the 10 with smooth triggering). And the shooter did that well for being so fresh in kneeling position with 189 on the last 20 shots (16 years old).
